To minimize the risk of people purchasing duplicate gifts, please do the following:
Check the registry immediately prior to buying your gift to make sure it is on the “Available Gifts” list
Click on the retailer shown from whom you’d like to purchase the gift.
Click on “Need J Squared’s shipping address?”. Copy the address and put it somewhere where you can reference it so you can enter it into the retailer website during checkout.
Purchase the gift from your retailer of choice. I believe most retailers will ask at checkout if the item is a gift and will allow you to send a Gift Message. You can do this in place of a card to share your
congratulations.
As soon as your purchase is complete, please go back to Babylist and check the “I’ve Purchased This” box on the gift list and fill out the requested information so it will show as “Purchased” on the gift list.
There are a few items on the list that show the option to purchase the item from one or more retailers OR from the Babylist Store. In these situations, it’s better to purchase from one of the retailers as their return policies are much better than the one offered by the Babylist Store.
